Is it such good value ?? I personally would go for a MY 15 with a lot of the early probs ironed out.

I’ve never been near an L405 so can’t comment really. The main pull for me would be no rust on the body panels.

Thing is about buying a mega high miler is that whilst a cheap way of getting into an otherwise dearer car, the insurance will cost you the same either way.

I think you are right 4.4l seem to be in short supply. I can only guess that dealers took a cheaper car ie 3L onto their books as demo’s They look the same, even top speeds and 0-60’s are v similar, mpg is much better than the 4.4L.... . that all said means less 4.4L available. Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc He who dies with the most toys wins... |

The 4.4L V8 is nicer to drive and as we now know more reliable than the SDV6.
