Oil leak on kid’s new drive, must be our LR

Things that make you go......*%€$¥#* you.

My wife just spent the past 5 days helping with a two year old and a three week old while our Son and DiL moved to a new house, all went well (at the last minute of course) everyone was squeezed into rooms with moving boxes, you know what it’s like, chaos.....anyway today my wife was about to leave to come home she moved the car around to pack her cases, and the “Kids” said.....”hey, your Range Rover has left oily stains in our new drive”......this upset my wife as you might expect.

Anyway as soon as she got home I was crawling underbellow with torch and rag.....and......nothing, just dirt and dry dusty bits, no wet oil at ALL.

Rang the kids to let them know it might have been the removal van (as they are ALWAYS well looked after Rolling Eyes ) but oh no, couldn’t have been them! WTF?

I give up.....bloody kids.....stuff’em!

Rant over..... Censored David

Please let me know if my comments upset you, I may wish to upset you again.

its probably the air con dribbles ... not oil.

the standard response is "its a land rover, they all do that", turn on heels and walk. V8 or else ...

I'd explain that your car has no leak so who else could it be? Leave it to them to work it out. Once I'd cleared my car of any blame I'd leave it to them to sort out and wouldn't let it worry me at all. My wife however, would be in a right old state and admit it was all her fault and even offer to pay for a professional cleaner to sort it. I'd argue with her and end up paying anyway. Hardly worth the effort when you think of it. May as well get the jet washer out the moment you're told of the issue.
