A very similar experience to you EM from Reading dealership. Took my deposit back after they messed up my order . Do not use them!

Between us all I think we have an amazing resource of knowledge and experience , if the muppets are not even able to do the simplest of jobs then we should reward the few that are competent by recommending and indeed putting our business their way .

Don't forget Customer (you and I) is king and we should vote with our feet - we have the knowledge between us .

We have the dealer and feedback section -lets all of use of it and make it the goto place for reccoemendations of competence.

I too can not speak highly enough for Matfords Of Exeter.

I had never used Carwow before and was apprehensive of using a Dealership miles away, ( I live in Cardiff) but the part exchange deal and the Carwow deal that Matfords offered me far out did any part ex deal from the 3 Stratstone Dealerships in my area with them not offering any discount on a new vehicle anyway and 1 of the Dealerships ( Newport) I had bought 4 vehicles from them before. I dealt with a chap called Gary Keenor and he has been brilliant throughout my purchase of my new car.

A bonus is he always called back if not available when you rang, he always kept in contact via email and when a time was arranged for a phone call he always rang at that exact time arranged. Top marks from me and definitely worth a chat.

Gary is right. CarWow really do offer an excellent resource when it comes to buying a new car.

This year we bought my wife a new XC40 (to replace her Evoque) and received an outstanding level of customer service along with a very healthy discount.

One of my daughters has collected her spanking new VW Polo today. £3k off the list price and 2 weeks from order to collection. Again all through CarWow.

Even if you get a quote from the website you can then ask your preferred dealer to try to match or better it?
