Beaten to it.

So whilst away with work I spot a stunning Tonga Green with Sand Supercharged RR for sale, and when I get home now to look for it to arrange to go and see it, its gone. My question is... which one of you lot beat me to it!!!!! Very Happy 2011 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 TDV8

YUP , will have to get in training to move faster. Luckily I have a head start on a Green with Sand TDV8 ex Royal car but I would prefer a SC I think. It is just the Royal one is probably worth having as all the initial remedial work that gets done to them given who the driver is means you should get an extra good one. I would imagine the Royal fleet is well looked after, probably no better than some of the cars on here though, but there is only so much you can do. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I have an ex Royal Jaguar V12 Sovereign which was one of a pair of identical twins that Jaguar supplied to HMQE for the first 3 years. One was being serviced whilst she drove the other one, as JLR do not want HM breaking down in one of their cars.

So all the teething problems will have been ironed out and it should be correctly set up and maintained However, it depends on any subsequent owners to keep up the level of maintenance. If that’s ok, I’d go for the ex Royal one Thumbs Up

I can just imagine the conversation with JLR customer services if she phoned up to complain that her FF had broken down!

JLR: "Sorry, your maj, we can't even look at your car for 2 months, you've no chance of a loaner and it won't be repaired under warranty because it moved out of the showroom under it's own power and that's where the warranty ends"

HM: "Has one been to the Tower of London lately? If not, then one may get a very close look soon if one doesn't get one''s car fixed soon!"

Mike

Rolling with laughter yeah , I guess that is why they do it. I have heard the same thing about pre-emptive servicing. The second owner has taken great care of it so all should be good, it will depend whether there is deemed to be a high value due to owner number one, though on the V5C it does not show, Elizabeth Windsor, Room 1, Buckingham Palace, The Mall, London. UK (All mine!) Except the City of London of course. 2011 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 TDV8

You can see her in it in press photos though apparently. So if there is a high premium for that, I am out. We shall see. Though I still am keen on a green supercharged. 2011 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 TDV8

Thanks to GDPR, the previous keepers details are no longer displayed on the v5 so you might be best photocopying it if you have it.

IMHO

If you can prove ownership for sure, then Iwould say a significant sum.

If u can afford to wrap in cotton wool and wait..... then even more! Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

He who dies with the most toys wins...

That's my worry, I am not prepared to pay over the odds because of the first owner, so I will certainly loose out to someone who will. Smile I want to drive it now rather than store it. We shall see, if I end up with it, will be sure to post pix. 2011 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 TDV8
