Dont really get your point Mick The Verizon phone uses the Qualcomm MDM6600 chip which is capable of doing everything but if Apple fetch out a phone now and used all the facilities then thats the iphone 5!! Verizon have obviously wanted the phone before the iphone 5 release date so Apple have created an 4a for them which i guess will be a testbed for this new chip.

Really just curious when i spoke to 02 tonight about an upgrade for the missus , was wondering why 02 would inform me of the CDMA version |

O2 is part of the Telefonica group and i know that Telefonica o2 has a some CDMA networks ie Czech Republic which are used , i think, purely for data. So maybe they might have access , before the Iphone 5, to CDMA phones. Its more than likely that after the the initial Verizon sale Apple will want to expand to the other markets that haver large CDMA networks i.e India and China , only surmising of course.
