Nothing to do with the business I bought from gents. Been toying with getting one for a while, and this one seemed reasonably priced. If any one wants a go come to Durham, you can lend mine and see for yourself! At this rate it will pay for itself. |

Should have said it takes a week or so to empty the tank so I can refill and do the calculation.

I put a Steinbauer powerbox in mine in December and consumption dropped 2-3 mpg. Def more power above 3,000 revs adn faster in overtake but to get that sort of 8pmg increase is amazing or misleading. I did full tank brim to brim comparison and got 25 MPG over 2,000 miles whereas I was getting 28 mpg before. Incidentally my computer mpg readout is pretty accurate still, only under-reading by about 0.5-1 mpg. |

will post accurate figures when calculated. initiatial figures from the computer are impressive, all are from steady driving. The box has 6 settings, 3 low torque and 3 high end power, I have set mine to high low end torque and medium power ( above 2500 rpm). with the computer on it tends to make you drive economicaly. Drove from durham to the metro centre the other day ahd got 34 mpg by the computer for the trip, much smoother drive and more responsiveb than before. Ok gents after running the tank down the computer was showing average 28.5 MPG, I did the calculation 74.76 litres of diesel divided by 4.55 = 16.43 gallons. Completed 476 miles which equates to 28.97 MPG.
