My apologies if this is slightly off-topic but when you change the battery in one of the remote key fobs, do you have to re-sync the keys so that you maintain the driver personalization settings that are designated to that key number? |

I don’t know what key you have but I’ve read about people changing keys and dropping the little black but that links to the car, sounds like it looks like a small piece of plastic but it’s inportant. Someone with more knowledge than me will explain more I’m sure. |

There are a few posts on here that suggest that the remotes can be sensitive to the brand of battery. Might be worth trying to get hold of a different brand. Duracell seem to get mostly positive comments and worked for me. 2011 5.0 S/C |

+1 with Jomo, and check that you have put battery right side up (it has happened)

I have just opened a brand new strip of 5 Maxwells CR2032 batteries, dated Expiry date 12-2024 and out of 4 of them in Fob No.2 not one works. That fob had a Panasonic. battery in which I have refitted, and it works perfectly, but is giving low battery warning.
