Sat nav has gone crazy

I was in the gen area the other day of a street i needed to find so i put it in the sat nav. It highlited it as being 2 streets away but the rout it wanted was 2hours 55 mins !!!!!! I found it without following the route and put it down to a dodgy signal.

Today i put an adress in in a town agin i wasnt far away and it did the same thing but this time was taking me to a different town to the one i had put in !!! ??????

Got to be a seting wrong somewhere ? 2007 TDV8 Vogue SE

you might be pressing something incorrectly or the settings are wrong or it might that you need to take the disc out and re-insert it.. ... - .- -.

2010 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

I had this once in Luton (not somewhere I visit too often I must admit)in my RRS, the satnav took me right round the town centre oneway system twice before I realised that it was locked up, all I did to force a recalculation of the route was to pull into a side street and I escaped the maze pretty quickly after SWMBO in the dash had done her sums and found a new route. When I drove home from LPR last August the S/N tried to take me up every offramp, round the roundabout at the top and then back down the slip road back onto the motorway - something the Indigo system I had in my first RRS used to do a lot. I fiddled with the setting and the next day we stayed on the motorway all the way to Scotland without unintentional detours round the slip road system! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Have you perhaps set certain roads I.e. avoid / use motorways, toll roads or such like... or maybe selected the scenic route Wink 2010 Disco XS TDV6, 2009 Freelander 2 GS
