I've decided to put probably the best car I've owned up for sale as I just fancy a change. I fancy something a little more nimble and sporty so an SQ5 is calling my name.

I think a fair price is looking at Autotrader etc.

Hi Henry,

I'm just in the market for a L322 around your price bracket and mileage. I'd like to see the interior pictures. Also, forgive the newbie question, but I think I understand Autobiography is the "bees knees" re: able to customise from new, but I'm less clear if that means it means "more spec" than a Vogue SE - which is what I've been looking at. If you've any knowledge about this, that would be really helpful.

The other thing that is important to me is a warranty, as I'd like the confidence that big expensive problems are covered. Obviously a private sale is just that vs a trade deal which might come with a warranty, but I've also read that some people have existing warranties that can be transferred to a new owner, so if you could clarify on this, I'd appreciate it.

Official LR extended warranties can be transferred between private buyers, it's just a case of filling in a tear off page in the warranty booklet and sending it off to LR.

The official warranty becomes null and void if the car is sold to trade though as they cannot sell on the car with the LR warranty remaining. It's for this reason I intentionally bought my L322 privately with LR warranty remaining as a) I couldn't find any L322s for sale at franchised LR dealers and b) I couldn't find any other independent dealers offering a warranty that was as comprehensive as the LR extended one.

Obviously when buying privately the car is sold as seen but if you do your homework on the service history / MOT history, servicing bills and the car's got plenty of extended warranty then I'd say you can end up with a better package than from dealers anyway! 2011 5L SC Autobiography (For Sale!)

Been to see a Vogue SE today, and was disappointed if I'm honest with the condition it was in....so definitely up for a conversation on your car (although Thames Ditton is a long way from me - hence the request for pics! )

Hi Toby and apologies for the delayed response. I'm currently in Prague but will hopefully be able to upload some pics next week.

As for warranty, the car doesn't have one and to be honest, I've always run cars without them.
These cars are pretty solid from what I've read and experienced so the majority of what can go wrong will be classed as consumables etc.

Autobiography models were classed as the bee's knees as they had added extras such as leather roof lining and some other features.
I have a PDF document somewhere showing the differences between the models so will try and upload it when I can.

There's a slight scuff on the rear of the centre console unfortunately which is shown in the photo. There's also a couple of very small marks on the back of the passenger seat.
