Hi I have a Supercharged 570bhp SVA Dynamic 2017 delivered new from SVO now having done 21k miles . The bonnet near side is out of alignment , the rear hatch door is out off alignment and at speed the front of the roof screams with wind noise. when it was last serviced in July the tops of both front doors were replaced under warranty as they had both cracked .
Has anyone else experienced any problems with these specific cars or any similar RR's . Thanks .

Phew. Sorry you have had such a bad experience.

Tailgate alignment problems have been mentioned on here before, you'll be able to find some threads using the search function on the top bar. They were fixed under warranty (these were standard cars rather than SVO).

Noise from top of screen might also be worth a search, I don't recall reading about many instances though. I think the other cases were to do with the trim at the top of the screen being misplaced. Only Range Rovers since 1988

I mentioned that my tailgate was slightly out of adjustment and they immediately said it would have to be replaced. I picked it up today and it looks perfect now but it was a minimal issue before. No wind noise but my old D4 had issues after a windscreen was replaced. I assume you haven’t changed yours.

I don't understand the "tops of the doors" being cracked - the inner part of the door and window frame seems to be a single pressing to which the lower outer skin is bonded, so how did they both "crack" in normal use?

SVA versions are hand finished - I find it hard to understand how so many serious bodywork errors on a single car passed inspection?

How did you manage to drive 21k miles before noticing/fixing all these problems?

I have same issue with sunroof, at anything over 100mph the air noise is a scream. Disappears at 110 and reappears at 140 plus. Dealer won't do anything as can't legally go over 70mph to hear the noise.

You are doing well gettinga diesel to 140mph+

Quite easy in a 4.4 v8. Last year i had the Speedo on 262kmph!!! Till the noise got too much

Same car as you, (GC) sat nav etc wont work half the time, auto emergency brake thing has a fault all the time, front drivers seat wont move anymore and rear passenger seat is stuck with the back of the seat at 45 degrees so no one can sit in it.

been back twice, and only thing they have fixed is the brake issue.

Seats they say cannot fix and just sent it back to me as it is lol.

You know what they say, once SVA have had a car, its never the same again.

Landrover have now attempted to clear the roof noise three times in the 20 months
I had to drive the car with a technician beside me to prove the problem
With Gorilla tape all over the roof we proved it was the first black panel after the windscreen that makes the noise when the car travelling 98 mph and over !! It was a windscreen out to attempt to rectify
Tops of doors cracking rellates to the black cover trim that cracked through which was really strange however I have now seen a few other siimilar cars with the same
The backtailgate is now having new hinges and the bonnet is being reset when it next goes into the dealer

Historically had sat nav problem , recalibration 3 times on assist braking and then a major 2 day download of new software

With thespectural british racing green paint the car was £145 k , its a great car but really dissapointing that for a so say special vehicle so many disapointing faults albiet Landrover and the dealers a very pleasant and keep trying !!!
