My 2008 Vogue was serviced when I bought it last year at 110k, I expected it to last until November but the service interval warning came on for an inspection in May (6 months later). I had it serviced and it's just popped up again for November. I've only done 8k miles in total and only 2.5k since the service in May.

Surely this can't be right can it?

I would imagine the service reset was not carried out... simply have it reset then make sure you have the next service carried out 12months after your last service, keeping a close eye on the service agent resetting it at that point...

Only other possibility is your service interval meter has been set to the arduous use plan!!! This means you live in a desert or at the South Pole!!! And the car would require more frequent maintenance.

Not sure the North East is cold enough to warrant the above though sir

Interestingly my S/c, which was serviced in January and the service re-set was definitely done ( I was there when he did it) has this month started to tell me inspection due 10/2018.
