You could try disconnecting the -ve terminal on the battery and leaving it disconnected for five minutes and then reconnect it. You might be lucky ( or not ).

Disconnected both terminal leads on the battery in order to recharge on a CTEK charger - still no joy with the side indicator.

You could try taking the side repeater off the car and connecting it directly to the battery and see if it does in fact light up. |

I swapped the drivers side repeater (bulb connector+bulb) over to the passengers side and it works.

If you have 12V and earth at the repeater you would expect the repeater bulb to be lit up all the time, something I don't understand. |

Not sure i understand 100% too but i faintly remember (from somewhere) that voltage can exist without current flow (but not the other way around). I have a very very basic school boy understanding of electronics so may be some one with more authority on the subject matter can comment. |

If you have 12V and earth the bulb should be alight.

Nope....a standard filament bulb is fitted (which definitely works as tested on the passenger side indicator) |

Have you checked the earth at the repeater connector to an earth point on the car? If not I would. |

You need to connect a multimeter to the repeater connector earth terminal to and earth point. The easiest earth point to find is probably in the engine compartment. Any of the bolts/ nuts on the top of the air suspension struts will be ok. |

MOT is due soon so ive decided to send the LCM off for repair to an auto electrician who offers LCM/BCM repairs on ebay.
