I’ve done mine twice and it took almost 5 litres each time, others have reported as little as 3 litres - I ordered my fluid from mytyres.net genuine fluid for about half price

No problem for me I got my Helix engine oil from a German site and it cost loads less.

I just sent the price to opie to match....... see what they do.

Anyone got any tips on what to use in place of the special tool. I am going to have a look at it later and see if there is anything in my box which will do it. Failing that it’s a trip to the cheap tool shop to get a budget set so I can cut down an Allen key There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Not sure about the tool but I read you don't need the special tool.

I’ve just ordered some from Mytyres.co.uk as opie couldn’t get to their price. Which is fair enough.

So I’ve managed to get all the bits for:

£112 - 6 litres of zf8, hope I don’t need more, I shouldn’t reading all the posts about it.
£65 - ZF pan filter (hoping it’s right but I did get the PN off ZF)

Total £177  There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Its a 10mm allen head its only tightened to 8nm and is a plastic drain plug

The bf replaced the pan and oil in mine and only got 3.5 litres out roughly. About 1500 miles later we started to experience torque converter judder at around 30 mph with very light acceleration but a full £300 flush with one of those machines at our local LR Indy sorted it out.
