My 2007 Vogue SE Supercharged

Having had a problem with my TDV8 the garage gave me the chance to take their Supercharged and wow! Am i glad i did.

Awesome to drive, but bound to be a thirsty girl which does not worry me as mileage is fairly low.

In nice condition and last 2 services at Rovertune which gave some comfort!

It would not surprise me to find that someone on this forum is the previous owner, lol.

What difference do you notice most between two of them ?

I have the SC, but have long wondered about what the tdv8 would have been like. V8 or else ...

2007 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.2 SC V8 Stornoway Grey

Just completed 1000 mile trip in mine 3x tanks of lpg and 1/4 tank of petrol
Not bad for about 200 quid at a guess
Never missed a beat either until we first filled up with continental lpg when I had a couple of lean and rich codes but its retrimmed itself and now spot on again

Hi Fisha

I love the tdv8 engine, very responsive and the torque is addictive! The sc is quiter and smoother, but growls nicely when pushed.....

I see to be getting about 19 mpg in the sc and was getting around 25 in the tdv8, so not a massive difference.....

Off on a long trip tomorrow so looking forward to getting some time behind the wheel of the new toy. Looks lovely also imho.

I was thinking of lpg, but a local fitter said he wouldnt install due to valve recession? Any experience with this?

done about 30000 on mine since fitted , the installer wasn't the best tbh but in fairness he did a good tidy job of installation just couldn't map the thing very well with the crappy injectors he'd installed, so I had to change to better injectors and retro install a valve saver system (he said it didn't need one , I disagree) also have learned to map it myself and have added 25% petrol after 2950 rpm as an extra precaution for vsr, runs faultless now.

If you do get one lpg'd , make sure you go to a reputable fitter who's done these before , in fact I'd travel quite a way to the right guy if I had another installation carried out
