England 2016 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV6 Kaikoura Stone

I asked about this when I got my Vogue SE. But it was prohibitively expensive as it isn't just the whole light unit that needs replacing (which is a fortune anyway) but also addition of sensors on the steering rack and extra looms etc. My dealer wouldn't even entertain doing the job either.

Disappointing as it's about the only thing I really miss over my Disco 4 HSE.

I am sure it is do-able but probably not worth it, I just shine a torch out of the window to illuminate the kerb when necessary Laughing Plus as far as I know and according to the manual, the road-following swivel of the head lights only happens in dip mode, not full beam. The kerb illumination is useful though in the boondocks of Norfolk.

Hope that helps.

Clive

United Kingdom 2019 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Corris Grey

I ordered a new RR with the adaptive headlights. It was built without them. A factory error.

The only thing JLR could do was build a whole new vehicle. So I don’t think it’s possible.

In fact the second one had the same mistake so they built me a third Range Rover. They allowed me to use both other cars for 6 months each whilst a new one was built. Put 12,500 on each of those two cars.... Current: L460 Autobiography D350 2023, Defender D240 HSE 2020, Defender 110 Adventure 2015, Defender 90 XS 2012, Lightweight Ser III 1975, Aston Martin DBS Manual 2008
