Sorry, missed this.

Yes mjdronfield, it is the rear recirc switch I meant, not the A/C button.

In the first picture you posted it has 2 leds on it, and reading the rhs of the info it looks like it might be the difference between auto and manual. So it looks like when I press the auto button in the front it puts rears onto auto too. Too many toys, not enough time

John is your rear console a 3-knob or a 2-knob?

3 knob is called 4-zone I think.
