These were replaced on mine by a previous owner and appear to be stainless. The allen (socket head cap screws) bolts (original?) or torx etc. replaced by hexagonal head bolts. If you have a lower tailgate damper fitted make sure the replacements bolts supplied have one with a nipple on it. If you don't have the damper, they are worth fitting.

common problem, as said contact dan at duckworths for a competitive price..

I've just fitted one on the eBay cables. It has s hex bolt head rather than a Tory head as the original did.

Guy's thanks for all info, for ease etc ive gone for a pair off Ebay if they don't look like they're good enough they'll go back.
