2004 (54 reg) Range Rover TD6 SE for Sale

£2750 ovno as I need the driveway space A few problems but drives well and is too good to break for spares

Adriatic Blue Metallic/Cream leather with blue piping
2966 cc TD6 Engine (BMW m57 6-cylinder turbo-diesel) with 5-speed Automatic gearbox. Electrically operated transfer box for 4wd and Hi/Lo ranges.
Mileage is 212272. MOT to March 2019. Currently on SORN. Full service at time of MOT and done less than 100 miles since.
I have owned car since April 2015 and done 41000 miles in it. First registered Sept 2004.

Good points
• Original condition, with no “facelifting” or bling
• Radio/Info LCD display all works perfectly – ribbon cable recently replaced as some pixels were not showing properly. CD changer and in-dash CD.
• Pirelli Scorpion Zero tyres with 5mm tread, fitted as set 12000 miles ago in Feb 2017. Spare is Goodyear Wrangler with 3-4mm.
• Professionally fitted Witter towbar and 12-pin electrics.
• Seats have no tears or major marks, though there is some wear as you would expect – see photo of driver’s seat. Electric adjustable and heated front seats.
• Heated front screen
• Gearbox professionally replaced with quality reconditioned unit at 179k. Fluid flushed and changed 2k miles ago.
• Full service and new front pads less than 100 miles ago.
• Brakes For Life from Halfords transferrable to new owner.
• Comprehensive service history with original Land Rover handbooks

Not So Good points
• Air Suspension Inactive – has been at standard height only for 26 months/21000 miles without any problems. Compressor works fine, Valve block has been replaced, pressure sensor has been replaced; suspect wiring between pressure sensor and ECU – now trying to repair
• Minor paint chips/scratches as you would expect with a car of this age/mileage
• Rust starting on upper tailgate edge and wheel-arch.
• Rear screen wiper not working (common problem)

I am happy to answer any questions, but not interested in swap or P/ex please. Cash or bank transfer with confirmed receipt on collection.

United Kingdom 2004 Range Rover HSE Td6 Giverny Green

Just a heads up on the air suspension issue, mine was like that tuned out to be a steering angle sensor, which is on the steering column under the dash, just a thought may of course be quite a few other things!
Looks a nice honest car.
Good luck.

Thanks for the suggestion, but diagnostics shows no faults on the steering angle, but does think that suspension air pressure is 28 bar, even with the system completely depressurised. Suspect is damaged wire between ECU and pressure sensor in reservoir.

Thanks for the comments about the car - it's not perfect, but as you say, an honest example. Andrew
