Hello all, just joined and first post so bear with me!
Recently bought a 2014 RR L405 4.4 V8 diesel SE from LR so have a 2 year warranty thank goodness.
Only had it a month and already had the compressor and valve changed!

May be a problem with the ARC self leveling system as it seems to squeal / hiss a bit when cornering, worse when cornering to the right. Going round a roundabout for example it squeals a bit. LR say its all ok and no faults but I have my doubts.

Any thoughts / views would be appreciated? Anyone experienced this?

do you have deployable side steps ?

If so... then yes the noise is coming from the ARC valve and is cause by pipes vibrating on the mounts for the steps. The pipes should have rubber spacers (snubbers) fitted when the steps are added to the car (even if the steps were added when the car was new - they are a dealer fit and not done by the factory) - sometimes they don't bother fitting the spacers, sometimes they drop off.

The spacers are only a few quid and easy to fit. Note that even when fitted, there will still be a very very slight noise but it should be MUCH improved.

Hello and thank you for your quick reply! Yes I do indeed have deployable side steps so I'll get that checked out.

Its going into the garage next Tuesday to have the work done as per the Land Rover TSB. Will let you know if it works!
