I have a Porsche 911 (991) trickle charger which plugs directly into the 12v cigarette lighter socket. Can I use this to charge my 2017 L405 4.4 Autobiography, which is used very little?
Any advice would be appreciated.

I had to cut the cigarette lighter plug off my Porsche charger for the Macan which switches off all sockets after 5 minutes and fitted crocodile clips so when long term parking up the range rover I just lifted the bonnet and connected to the jump start points charger did its job. For my older Range Rovers L322 I just had a caravan connector and connected the charger through the towing point connector.

get this , connect to the terminals under the bonnet . Works well and is powerful enough to cope but also has a built in program to protect your battery from over charging and it is also temperature compensated .
