Don't know if its relevent but accidentally left my headlamps on for a few hours last Thursday.

Presently battery reading with engine off 12.5v, running 14.1v.

Car started and ran fine next day but on Saturday I got a bong and air suspension inactive-HDC inactive-ABS light-brake lights-HDC and low range lit up.

Using my iid tool I get the following that I can clear but instantly return.

0x57 Air suspension active/inactive

0x68 Steering angle sensor ecu internal fault (new one fitted 3 years ago this month)

0x5A Temporary system deactivation

0x32 Can bus fault

0xBD EBV function fault from ABS ecu

Searched on previous threads and other than steering angle sensor say that standard fault no action or old code??

Have also noticed voltage showing on dash 13.6v. Never seen this displayed before?

Battery on charge now and fingers crossed. (Bosch 020 S5015 Silver 2 years old)

Voltage on dash usually shows when you have the iiDTool plugged in ?

Your codes point to an issue with either the air suspension or the steering angle sensor.

Suggest you check air suspension all round for height sensor issues, or leaky bag / pipe. .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember

I think that leaving the IID Tool connected can drain power which could lead to all manner of “faults” being displayed. Just a thought. 2006MY 4.2 SC

Recalibrated steering angle sensor and all seems fine. Would leaving the lights on have affected the steering angle sensor?? coincidence?

Is it because she knows I am looking to sell?. No trouble at all so far this year, there again shouldn't be seeing as I have spent over 5k last few years.

I think I've seen you're car knocking around the bury area.

I presumed it was wrapped / repainted at first until I learned recently that it's the original colour.

Spoke too soon, not solved the problem.
After calibrating the steering wheel sensor I raised it, lowered it. Turned it off, back on, raised and lowered again. No problem.
Later jumped in it to go home and BONG all back again with all the same faults plus a new one

I do get to Bury on a Saturday a few times a month.

Not original colour, was resprayed by Overfinch at 7 weeks old. Original owner didn't want to wait 12 months to get that colour from Range rover I believe?? Not Galway but Balmoral green actually
