United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Autobiography Black TDV8 Santorini Black
L322 3.6 TDV8 Fuel oil cooler Gasket

Good day all

My FF 3.6 TDV8 is currently undergoing cylinder head gasket replacement. Before completign the rebuild I am advised we require a new gasket between the Oil/Fuel cooler located in the Vee. I am also advised a new gasket is only available if a complete assembly at £760 + VAT is purchased - can anyone assist to advise if these gaskets are available without spending £912?

Regards

According to microcat

http://allbrit.de/epc.cfm?PAGE=3030210-T36...E=EN#6A636

seems to be a separate part

Have you asked Dan at Duckworths? .

Hi Joe 90,

Apparently the required gasket is one that sits within the identified parts, do you know of a gasket part no. for this? Steve

There is no sign of it on the Microcat site.

Have you had the unit apart to see what is required, whether one could be made up, or if decent gasket sealant would do the job ? .

Thanks Dan, is that the one in the picture I posted, or the one the OP says is "inside" ? .

From the photos of the unit, it does look like the oil cooler comes out. Anyone done this, with photo ?
