thats interesting Greg...it confirms that a video interface is needed for the nav box...you'd think that the two could be integrated into one box ... ... - .- -.

The workshop Manual is delightfully vague when referring to sat Nav map updates but this diagram suggests that the FireWire plugs into the head unit ?

by the fuse box in the glove box is a firewire socket....the dealer plugs into that and updates the mapping... ... - .- -.
