Morning all, do we know if Land Rover addressed the rust issues on the later 2012 L322’s.

If anything, tailgates are worse. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

My last L322 both rear quarters rotted plus the rear subframe. I guess it's trying to find one of the last 322 that hasn't rusted and treat it.

I bought my mid 2011 car at the end of 2015 and the tailgate had already been repainted.

I put a 2007 tailgate on my TD6 and that was still fine when I traded it in.

I know it depends on how it’s been looked after and such like, but the consensus seems to be that the later ones are not as good as the BMW era cars.

Not all of them have started the rusting process yet....you might find one and can cover it in Waxoyl.

Having had 2004 and 2012 322s that were both waxoyled underneath and had similar lives I'd say corrosion was notably worse on the later car. Only Range Rovers since 1988

I can never get over how susceptible to rust these L322 are around the tailgate and rear quarter panels.
