Only had the FFRR-07VSE for a few months, been used occasionally as needed (just what it was bought for) and it’s due the MoT in a few weeks time, not been this nervous ab0ut an MoT since I had a 1965 Mini back in the early 70’s.......

The RR has been faultless so far, well apart from the worn idler bush when we bought it.......so this should be fun  David

Not all doom and gloom.

Checked my cars MOT history and from 1st MOT back in 2007 to latest one last week only ever had 2 failures, both
"Windscreen has a sticker or other obstruction encroaching into the swept area by more than 40mm outside zone 'A' (8.3.1e)"
And 1 advisory "Parking brake lever has little reserve travel (3.1.6b)" back in 2016. Not Galway but Balmoral green actually

Just got ours through as well, had to do the o/s front drive shaft boot. Got an advisroy for both front tyres worn close to legal limit on outside edge, just put my tyre gauge on them, both have 5mm across the whole tread!! How is that 'worn close to legal limit'? Drives:

Actually I lied, ours also had the “rear tyres close to legal limit” but upon inspection I cannot for the life of me (literally) see they are anywhere near the legal limit......puzzled. David

Friend of mine was saying that he noted the tyre wear chart in his local Jag dealership. I can't recall the exact figures, but it was something like 0-3mm red, 3-6mm amber, +7mm green. So they're giving amber warnings to owners when the tread depth goes below 6mm  Drives:
