That’s an awful lot of towing miles

I don’t normally tow for more than four hours on any day. It makes a comfortable stint without becoming a drudge. I may do a couple of overnighters but usually do 2 or more to allow a bit of exploring on the way. I’m doing 3 nights in the Jura, 10 in the lakes split between lake Iseo and lake Como, 7 in Hauts de Rosans, 4 in San Sebastian and 8 near Bergerac. The rest are generally 2 nighters so plenty of time to explore and relax. Having towed for 4 hours to and from Dorset last weekend, the car is just stunning. |

We spent a couple of months in Spain earlier this year going through the tunnel and driving down stopping for two nights every 200 miles or so.

If you get a chance (or are interested in Motor Sport) have a trip out to the old F1 Circuit at Reims (pronounced RANZ).

Unfortunately I'm only at this site overnight on my way in search of sun for the wife. Looks a really good day out for both. |
