height sensor

someone asked me that if you take off and refit a height sensor , will it read differently and need adjusting, anyone know?... ... - .- -.

Didn't have to when I changed a rear one, may just have been lucky, or depends on how fussy you are about a movement of 2mm in height Confused .

I didn't see any height difference when I changed mine, just indicating that an anal factor might tempt the iiDTool out of its box Thumbs Up .

Shouldn't do - it's just a potentiometer. If it's the same sensor then I'd be surprised if removing / refitting makes any difference. Fitting a new sensor and I'd expect to carry out a re-calibration. 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate
