low battery key

Have had the low battery key on the dash for over a week now.Changed battery to a new but not used for over a year and still the same.
Bought new battery and still comes up.
Tried my iid tool but still comes up.
Any hints on how to get rid of it would be greatly appreciated.
TIA

If it's anything like the D4 keys they are very picky about which battery you put in them, on my last D4 the low battery warning came on and I put a new battery in that I had in the house but the warning remained! Somebody on the D4 forum suggested putting a Duracell battery in so I did and the warning went off. Cheers Ian
