MY2018 vs. MY2019

Are there already any hints about differences between 2018 and 2019 model?

Thanks,
Peter

United Kingdom 2002 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Tangiers Orange

I was on the production line yesterday, then drove a fresh off the line 405 and it is still a 2018 model spec one.

However, new specs would most likely come in September, so wait and see.

If you order now, ask for a built date post September 1st - which would most likely happen anyway. l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

My dealer said you can only order MY19 now.

I think the fundamental differences are firstly price... a bit of a hike at least in line with inflation. Secondly engines: 3.0 diesel is now more powerful and the 3 litre petrol is deleted for EU markets. And then the Adaptive Cruise with Stop n Go has an upgrade option to "steering assist". It's £175 on an AB but neigh on 4 grand on Vogue SE, partly because it is also bundled with Park Assist. I cannot think of any other big differences. The easiest way to see is by going to the configurator. The only thing we are waiting for is the new brochure.

Wow, that's a hell of a jump.

That'll fuel the eBay trade in stolen wheels.

I’ve just gone through the configuration and the CO2 output is now rated as 245g, rather that the 219g that it was in 2017 Shocked

That will explain the first years tax being over £2,000 Censored

The move towards "packs" rather than individual changes was explained by a dealer as designed to meet the requirement for more exact emissions measurement. There is of course also the fact that diesels that cannot meet real world emissions tests (JLR have not submitted their diesels, it not being mandatory until next year I think) pay at the next band up following recent budget changes. Only Range Rovers since 1988

Doing some more research, it really does seem to have risen from 219g to 245g, as an SDV8, from 2018 to 2019MY.

I wonder how much of a liability that will be in the future?
