"An HPI Check can identify if a vehicle has outstanding finance, is stolen, written off or clocked"

As far as I can tell from their website, they don't offer a trim level verification service?

And as per my original question, I wasn't disputing the fact that its an AB, I merely asked what AB options it had because this would have had a bearing on price, as I was confused because you have specifically said its a Vogue A/B Edition.

12.1 Information we provide on a vehicle's description is not covered by the HPI Guarantee.

2003 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 V8 Java Black

TBH other than the Harmon stuff i'm not sure what options are AB options.

I was told by my dealer it just meant you could specify different coloured seat inserts, piping etc.

I was also told it had extra leather i was told on lower door cards, sides of centre console.

If thats wrong fair enough but it was info from LR Brock. TDV8 HST Sport **Current**

4.4 V8 Autobiography and 22" wheels **Gone**

The HK sound system was standard on the Vogue, AB's were usually upgraded to Logic7, although this was an option on the vogue. Leather on the door and other bits is all standard vogue - over the HSE options.

You can spec your own paint colours and interior colours too.

Either way, moot point as you've sold it... Thumbs Up

indeed,

If you can do all the AB stuff anyway at a dealer then why do they offer them? Seems a bit silly then. Its got me bloody puzzled now as to why you'd bother as surely they are extra ££££'s

TBH the Vogues a bloody high spec in standard form Thumbs Up TDV8 HST Sport **Current**

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover SE Td6 Zermatt Silver

I was recently told by Land Rover that an Autobiography is really just a Vogue SE but with customisation options such as special paint finishes, wheels and interior trims (sky's the limit apparently) Thumbs Up

It was, before they added the Autobiography as a new model in the range.
Previously you just added some intersting options and stuck the badge on the back. So it could be a +10k AB or a +50k AB.

Quite but the only difference is still the choices on paint/wheels/leather etc and the badges.....

The all-V8 line-up includes the superb new 4.4 litre LR-TDV8 Diesel engine with a new eight-speed transmission incorporating Drive Select with Paddle Shift as standard. The LR-V8 5.0L Supercharged engine is also available. It delivers more power and torque, and improved economy. The patented Terrain Response® is upgraded with new Hill Start Assist and Gradient Acceleration Control. Also available in two new beautiful colours, Fuji White and Baltic Blue.

The ultimate in Range Rover luxury, craftsmanship and exclusivity, as well as offering the availability of Autobiography. Distinct Autobiography exterior cues include a Noble-plated mesh-design on front grille and side vents, plus 20 inch Style 17 alloy wheels. Inside there is the choice of duo-tone perforated semi-aniline leather at no extra cost. Plus full leather facings on the door panels. There’s 14-piece real wood veneer trim available in a range of the finest, decorative woods. And premium carpet mats with leather trim edging.

Not to mention unique touches such as Autobiography sill tread plates. Also available, creating the epitome of cocooned opulence, is a full leather headlining. For the best-ever Range Rover on-road driving experience. The Autobiography has Adaptive Xenon headlamps as standard.

With AB you used to be able to choose your own colours/materials. So it could be completely bespoke. The new AB is just a further range of colours and materials etc, buy you cant go into a dealer with a colour swatch and ask for it in that colour.

On the plus side, it may limit the pink interiors!
