3.6 tdv8 re map

Good evening all I have a 2007 3.6 with 171k on it now it has a full service history from main dealer and two owners I am the second. It has had a gearbox mega flush and has regular oil changes no the question. Do you think it is too high mileage for a remap and I am asking for trouble or will it be fine. Next question is who has real life experience with a re mapped 3.6 is it worth it and is there a noticeable improvement. I have been looking on line and there are loads of claims about power ect ect and the prices vairy quite a lot I have a iidt tool so the option of remote remap from Bell Auto Services is a possibility. Has anyone got recommendations of suppliers Bell Auto Services alive quantum AMD Superchips ect ect

Mine had done 70k, had a bluefin on it, made a huge difference as it was 53bhp and nearly 200 nm of torque.

I must say that 120k seems a bit chancy.

Steve You remind me of a young me, not much younger mind, perhaps even a little older!
