It's a Forum - Discussion is kinda the point.

As for De-Valuing, well to be frank (unlike me I know) it has to have the value there in the first place. I was merely the first person to suggest that it is worth 12-12,500 but certainly not the only one.

And "pulling apart" - Sorry, but if you advertise your Vogue as an Autobiography then you are guna get pulled apart, and I make no apologies for asking "What Autobiography options do you have?"

Can agree with Dan here but in sale section why not just make it so no reply's can be added. Seller can add personal contact details then no need for discussion in sales section.

To be fair if you don't want comment on asking price then best not stick it on a forum.

Advertise it in the usual places.
You will then have to fend off all the muppet phone calls rather than the forum posts. 15MY SDV8 Vogue SE

Agreed,

I have no issue with the asking of constructive questions, perhaps things could have been worded better Thumbs Up

I have stuck my neck out here for what I believe is right - so come on Macdaddy, Dan does make a very valid point is it a Vogue with extras or an Autobiography? - only fair for any prospective purchasers...

TBH not sure on the full extras list but it had big wheels, supercharged grills, factory tints, Harmon Kardon.

As for not being an Autobiography it came back on an HPI check as an Autobiography edition when i bought the car and also again this afternoon when the new buyer checked. Also badged up (which i know could have been added)

But i clearly bow to your knowledge Wink

Also sold for the FULL asking price so just goes to show people should base their prices on current market values using autotrader/pistonheads as it does reflect well. TDV8 HST Sport **Current**

4.4 V8 Autobiography and 22" wheels **Gone**

Out of interest did you tell the new owner that it's an Autobiography, or did he just "think" he was buying one?

As I and others have asked:

What Autobiography options does it have? So far you've not mentioned any, does it have a Vogue badge on the back or an Autobiography badge? And does it have the Special Vehicles badge on the slam pannel?

And like I've said, it's badged as an auto.

No other badges other than a black LR. TDV8 HST Sport **Current**

Doesnt make it an Autobiography - much like the black badges don't make it supercharged. Rolling Eyes

If it was an AB it would have some AB features. 22" wheels fron the "hood" don't count either.
