I've been trying to decide what to buy on and off for quite a while. Since selling my SC in fact but have previously gotten bored of looking. I've finally taken the plunge and bought a 2014 Jaguar XFR.

I toyed with the idea of an XFR-S but there was a big premium for less ride comfort and a bit more power so I stuck with the XFR.

It's a one owner car with full Jag history, 10 months MOT, all the wheels refurb'd, 4 new tyres, a Jag service 3 weeks ago, and 2 years Jag warranty.

The guy who bought it new ticked most of the options, £9.5k's worth to be exact, it looks like he only left the TV and Sunroof off the list. It's got the Speed Pack, Black Pack, Carbon Fibre Pack, High Beam Assist, Adaptive Cruise, Adaptive Headlights, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Upgraded Audio. The protective covers are still on the kick plates

It's going to be a long week before collecting it on Friday from Jaguar in Mayfair. Couple of little things for them to address first but it should be great.

I always quite enjoy the journey home in a new car

I usually come off the M6 around Kendal and head north for Shap, then Penrith and join the M6 again to head north. It breaks the journey up a bit.
