United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Baltic Blue

I have just returned from a 120mile visit to my daughters and I honestly can’t think that any amount of money could improve the pleasure I get from my 4.4 tdV8 on such trips.
I have owned every generation of RR but this is without doubt the one that I intend to keep longest.

Of course there is - it's 'Idris' (obviously, d'uh).

OP and mods, terribly sorry - this seems to be going OT quite quickly - we should start a new thread for FF names. I do apologise Bow down

BTW, Lizzie makes sense now Smile

Mike.

yep - same here.

i drove Roger to Kelso to look at a 405 on Sunday and the pleasure and sense of occasion when driving him is immense. i also get more attached to cars when I've fixed or serviced them myself.

however, apart from disks and oil etc the only significant things that have needed doing in 5 years and nearly 50k miles are top intercooler pipes and an alternator. last week i got lthe local indy to flush his gearbox check over the suspension bushes (which are all good). flushing the box made a huge difference as ever since i got him at 48k miles there has been a kind of backlash in the transmission somewhere and flushing the box has fixed this too.

will keep on looking at 405's however because the comparison is making me enjoy him more and raising the bar!

Which engine do you currently have and what was the one in the 405 that you tried?
