Let me get this right - You have a fuel leak - so the "specialist" suggested using injector cleaner?

If the fuel line to the FBH were leaking fast enough to create a puddle the heater wouldn't start properly and the ECU would shut off the flow of fuel - so there would be no puddle. Make sense?

When I first got my FFRR there was a smell of diesel after a run from around the near side headlight area, bonnet shut. It turned out to be one of the larger pipes on the right hand side of the block under the inlet manifold.. aboyt 3/4 wide pipe if I recall correctly. Just needed a tweak on the "special" jubilee clips with some mole grips. It was a bitch to get to mind. As soon as I described it on AFL (alt.fan.landrover - newsgroup) the answer came straight back. No visible leak mind.. just the smell of hot derv in the morning 2010 Disco XS TDV6, 2009 Freelander 2 GS

Thanks all for the help. Will take it to a local garage with ramps so they can have a look.
