Have you had the engine mountings checked? I would. It's an expensive repair, hence why Warranty and Dealers are often coy about taking this repair on. |

I have had the very same issue, also taken it to two dealers and they are both none the wiser, its random as you say, firsyt it only started at high speed but now it has started at lower speeds around 50/60 mph

Sorry my answers below, I wasn't notified of any replies on the topic so forgot to check back:
- No I haven't, I do have one tyre with a very very slow leak so that one I pump up every couple of months. The one thing I do also think is new is the car makes creaking noises at low speed when parking which I don't recall it made before. |

Had a similar problem was driving me mad thought torque converter.drive shafts.gearbox etc turned out to be a bulge in the tyre across the tread hardly noticeable but when I put new tyre on all was good . perelli scorpion verde all weather around 4/5mm did not show up when balancing hope this helps |

So just to update anyone who might be interested, I think the vibration was being caused by a failing tyre. That slow leak turned one day into quite a bit leak and we have to pull over and most of the inside tyre wall was torn. Pretty alarming really that this can happen.

Had a very similar random vibration on my wife's Audi Q7 at certain speeds. Turned out to be a cracked radial belt in the tire. Nearly impossible to spot with my untrained eye b/c the tire surface looked perfectly normal. Replaced the tire and all was fixed. |
