Oddly enough, the US gallon the same size as the Queen Anne Wine Gallon of 1706, i.e. 231 cu. ins.

I have the answer to the problem disconnect the battery terminals connect them together for 5minutes and hey presto it reverts back to how it was originally. Hope this helps
