Suspension calibration problem

My RR 2004 has been lowered on EAS to look good on 22 inch wheels , I want to recalibrate the ride height to std and had a local garage on it to do a few other jobs , he’s using Autologic and enters the correct ride heights and it accepts them but when he returns to main menu then goes back to calibration on ride heights the entered values have changed back to 720mm back to what it was when he first plugged it in , no fault codes indicated Any advice please ! Thanks

Anyone local to Peterborough got diagnostic equipment T4 or something similar?

Not quite sure how the autologic enters measurements or handles calibration, but normally you should calibrate, then adjust heights.

720mm ? Is that from the bottom of the rim ? Diagnostic kit now tends to work from hub centre...

When I lowered mine I just entered -15mm using the IID tool.

If he's entering 720 then it's probably a figure it can't accept. I think you need to measure how much it's been lowered by and enter that as a plus figure.

If I was raising mine for example I'd select +15 then enter / save.

Hi all and thanks for the replies, it’s set at 720 in the ecu and we wanted to increase to 840mm or std height , this is measured from the floor to top of the wheel arch , but as soon as the new value is entered and accepts it you then go back to main menu and then back to height calibration it’s back at 720mm !

Is he entering +120 or 840?
840 seems very high so the ECU may not accept it if it's outside normal range.
Also, you say the ECU reads 720 but is that "actual" or just what the system thinks it is? 2021 D350 Fifty Edition - Carpathian Grey

Ok it’s coming up as 720mm measurement from the bottom of the wheel rim to top of the arch and we need from the top of my head 840mm as std ride height , because I have 22” wheels on with 295:30/22 tyres on and want to revert to 19” wheels with 255/55/19 tyres . This is using Autologic equipment . Thanks all .

I’m getting a measurement of 430mm from hub centre and the rolling radius of the 19s is larger than the 22s

I'm with Stan, put the 19's on and then make any adjustments.

With the tyre sizes you want to use, the 19's will increase ride height by around 14mm and reduce the gap in the wheel arch by the same amount. The change in size will also make your speedo reading change.

If you used 255/50/19 they'd be virtually identical size to the 22's. 2021 D350 Fifty Edition - Carpathian Grey

Using

https://tiresize.com/tyre-size-calculator/

Your 22's have a diameter of 29" (circumf 91"), your 19's have a diameter of 30" (circumf 94.3")

Sounds like you need to use bottom of wheel rim to bottom of wheelarch measurement once you fit the 19's ?

If autologic is giving a reading of 720mm get the tape measure out and see if you can find that measurement ! .

Yes thanks Joe90, it is 720 from Bottom of rim the problem I’m having is increasing the value on Autologic and getting it to accept it as it just reverts back to 720mm !
Thanks
