Lots of woe with jaguar Landrover 2.0 and 3.0 Diesel engines at the moment due to software changes last year to meet emission laws which is doubling Adblu consumption and bringing about early oil changes (5000 miles@). Inside story is that further woe for LR Diesel engines come Sept this year with last round of Phil Hammond emissions announcements. Porsche has switched to only selling petrol vehicles. The Hybrids will be next requiring a minimum of 100 mile range to comply as a true hybrid. Land Rover Range Rover possibly makes 25 to 30 miles on a charge similar figure to the Cayenne.

I felt sorry for a guy in Clackett Lane Services in a Diesel 65 plate DS yesterday afternoon, limped into the services, lots of clattering and clouds of smoke, hopefully, it's still under warranty.

Maybe Monty can add more to this, I've been told that manufacturers have to release real world emission data, its a phased change that started in 2017.
