That reminds me - make sure you have €90 in cash. If you’re stopped for speeding it’s an on the spot fine - last time I was stopped the still didn’t take cards, only cash - so unless you want an escorted visit to a cash machine, make sure you have some. |

La Plod is very well hidden, often on the side of bridges, and use enourmous binocs, Many French flash warnings. Speed cam sign means there IS a speed cam, usually fairly short notice, but sometimes a couple of miles, Waze worked well in Paris, not sure about elsewhere in France. Euro tunnel web site has an interesting offer for tags... u don’t need to use the tunnel to access it. Pay two months subs instead of 12 Looks like it covers spain https://www.eurotunnel.com/uk/traveller-info/sanef-tolling/ Bill Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc He who dies with the most toys wins... |

No, no, no......do not! The Plod over there WILL seize your vehicle if they find any form of speed gun/laser jammer 🚔🚨🚔🚨🚔 🗝 David Please let me know if my comments upset you, I may wish to upset you again. |

Laser - but as stated, just pay the fine - there’s no points, so it’s only money.

There was an article in last week’s Autoplus (a French car mag) testing Waze head to head with Coyote on 3 features: radar detection, traffic info and ease of use. Although overall Waze performed reasonably for most types of radar, it apparently performed poorly for radars-tronçons (measurement of average speed over a section of motorway ; these are more and more common over here), warning of only 33% of them compared with Coyote’s 100%. Coyote was awarded 5* overall for radar detection in France, Waze only 3*. ![]() 20 years ownership of Solihull products, ALL GONE NOW, sniff! Current motor: Suzuki S-Cross 4WD auto, 1.4 petrol. Oh so reliable! 7 years now and no problems. Oh, all right then, a leaking shocker replaced under guarantee. It's only the hand held radar I've really worried about - I try my best with cameras, but not had a ticket make it's way to the UK yet.

I have the speed cameras installed on my built in Sat Nav as POI's - they seem very good for both fixed Gatso style and also the average speed cameras |
