Please can anyone tell me, I understand my L405 has Wi-Fi built in. I did have it in my old car and bought a Sim Card with 12 months service loaded on, same as below (please see link below) - Would this work in a 2016 L405?

Now I’ve fitted my SIM card, I can’t see the point. It’s only 3G and the signal seems no stronger than the 4G is on my phone.

I know what you men Red Merle, although I find it easier to reply to e-mails on my Laptop rather than my phone

Simply tether your laptop to the WiFi hotspot on your phone, rather than the one in the car and get 4G

Thanks Red Merle - Will my i-phone charger cable do that, simply by running it from the Laptop USB point to the i-phone charging connection? (at base of phone) - Or is there another way of doing it?

It’s nice and easy:

1. Go to “Settings” on your phone.
2. Select “Personal Hotspot” from the menu.
3. Switch it on.
4. Agree to “Turn on WiFi” if it asks you to.

Log on to the new “iPhone” option on your laptop’s WiFi settings and use the password that your iPhone gave you at Step 4 (above).

Your now have 4G WiFi

You can share the WiFi with others in the car if you give them the same passcode.
