United Kingdom 2014 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV6 Santorini Black
Vogue SE ordered

Hi,

I've just this morning placed an order for a new 3.0L Vogue SE. Should arrive in 12 weeks or so.

I tried two or three times to talk with a salesman at my local franchised dealer, Lookers Battersea, but no one ever bothered to come down from their office to see me! I ended up placing the order through Rockar Land Rover who see to have given me a reasonable trade in on my 64 plate, 50k mile Vogue SE, nearly £4k off list and 4.9% APR.

Picture from configurator below.

Yes, it is indeed Loire blue. I'd wanted what used to be known as Mariana black but they seem to have discontinued it.

Good to see Lookers sales team are up to their normal high standards of customer service and attention.... to be fair whilst my local stealer has failed to sell me any car, their service department whilst struggling with the work load have done their best.

I ‘m sure you will enjoy your new car Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

I had the same sort of service from Stratstone, Mayfair when I asked for a quote. What is it with the London dealers, we can't all have names ending in "ovich".

You'll love it Very Happy The car that is!!

Yes, their service department, whilst chronically over stretched, are reasonably polite and responsive.

Dealing with Rockar was interesting. They were polite on the phone and the chap in the showroom at Stratford was knowledgeable and courteous. The whole process was pretty smooth and hassle free. I'll reserve final judgement for delivery time!

Very nice; congrats.

If it's any consolation, I had trouble with Lookers Battersea too. They tried it on, insisting that four damaged wheels and multiple dents and scratches would be down to me to fix should I buy the non-discounted car..... they subsequently changed their mind but it was too late as far as I was concerned because they had showed their true colours.

Ive had that too from another main dealer! “It’s is what it is” was the platitude used for over £70,000’s worth of used “Approved “ car Rolling Eyes

Congrats to the OP on the new Full Fat, I’m very partial to Loire Blue Thumbs Up

Decided to add the black pack to the order after some deliberation. At the same time I requested an update as the car was meant to be delivered on 8th August and I was intending to register it in September. New delivery date end of October! Are delays of this length normal!

Loire blue was on my previous L322 Westminster and looked regal with cream interior, well actually it was an ex Royal Mews vehicle with the owner stated as LR. Could I ask if you have gone for the 3.0 V6 Petrol? if its the diesel please have a look at Adblu and oil dilution/early servicing threads.

Paul Journey started in a LR2B at 16 and has incl. just about every Land Rover, Disco, RRS and Range Rover Vehicle owned or driven, I even worked for the company when it was owned by BAe - It must be a madness!!! because to add to my 4.4 TDV8 Westminister In Baltic Blue I bought a second L322 as a commuter bus, TD6 2004 Vogue in Oslo Blue with cream leather now both gone replaced with what could turn out to be my biggest mistake. Carpathian Grey ivory interior 3.0 tdv6 Autobiog. 2017

Yes, a 3.0 D. You can't order the V6 petrol on the configurator any longer. Tempted by the 5.0l but I can't stomach the price or frequency of petrol station visits!

As it's delayed by such a long amount of time I'm going to look at some other marques.

They didn't used to be, mine was bang on time back in September 2017, it just seems to be problems with the new model year.

I take it that they are planning on chipping away at the value of your trade in?

Correct. The extended warranty also expires at the end of August, I'd hoped to have had the new motor by then. Double trouble!
