Date doesn't get saved. - Solved

Hi everyone,
since having a flat battery i have noticed that I am still suffering a few niggles.

1) I have to reset the date each day. Time is stored ok, as are other things like storing the current radio station or which cd is playing and which track are all saved ok.
2) My GPS needs to re-establish connections with satellites each day. This takes a few minutes.

Any ideas?
Thanks
Mark

Hi Stan,
I used the drop down lists in teh "My Range Rover" part of my profile, and added the vehicle information when I first joined - do I need to select something like "always include my signature"?

It is a 2007, 3.6TDV8 VSE

Thanks,
Mark

Hello Stan,
thanks. Yes, I filled in those fields when I registered. Honest Smile

My local Land Rover body shop is going to clear down the faults for me tomorrow and check battery health. I'll do the reset after that if it still persists. They are a really supportive and helpful outfit - Sturgess in Broughton Astley. They repainted the roof for me, and since the time I had a flat battery have been very supportive. I dont think they caused any issues, but have put in quite a bit of time FOC helping me with the post flat-battery gremlins. Lovely people.

There was a fault, "Lost comms with instrument cluster" - which was logged when I pulled fuses to trace the battery drain. Having the fault cleared has resolved the date not being saved.
