2007 TDV8 Coolant Leak

After moving the car this evening I spotted a damp patch underneath it.

On removal of the undertray it appears to be leaking from the hose at the bottom of the small radiator under the drivers side headlight. First of all what is the small radiator for and secondly has anyone else had a similar problem ?

I’m pretty sure the trans cooler is on the driver side behind the bumper. But don’t think it has coolant running to it. The coolant reservoir is on the driver side. Either a code or the plastic container might have a split. ______________________________

That should read hose or container. ______________________________

if you take out the drivers headlamp you can get to the narrower hose off the bottom of the expansion tank. On mine it was chaffing and almost leaking. Have a look as that is a common leak spot and its near where you are saying.feel down it and you should be able to feel if its been chaffing. Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I have the ‘air blast cooler’ on my 2007 TDV8
The only info I could find was -

An additional air blast engine oil cooler is mounted in the RH front wheel arch for enhanced oil cooling performance at high speeds (supercharged derivatives only).

Not sure on the supercharged only statement, also worth checking the tank cap as there’s two different types and it can leak

Unnecessary quote removed

Thanks for this, the leak looks to be coming from the hose on the bottom of item 11 in this picture. The hose itself looks to have swelled a little so I will play it safe and order a new hose.
