Yes, like other manufacturers it pays to shop around. Brake fluid doesn’t look so bad though...

Brake fluid change is reasonable considering the labour involved...

Agree, I said to the wife - I'd take it for the brake fluid just to get a free valet, lol!

Although, they'd probably just suck out the reservoir and put in fresh. __

The charge for a battery change is fairly (unfairly - lol) astounding ! Paul,

Fortunately, my North Devon dealer charges a fair amount less than that you the regular services.

But, if anyone books their RR into the dealer to get things like brakes / battery / wiper blades changed (or accepts their recommendation to replace all sorts of bits while it’s in for service) then they are going to get really nasty surprises like these. All of these extra things can be done for a lot less elsewhere without affecting the Land Rover dealer service history.

Oil & Filter change using the parts that I bought from the good old bay and Opie Oils (Magnatec and genuine Filter) - £25 cash plus parts just under £80 so £105 at my local LR specialist.

I’ve just checked the price of a battery at Euro Car Parts and that’s about the going rate for mine! Shocked Big Cry

You pay the "Land Rover" tax don't forget....

TBF my partner took his C63 AMG in for a service which was the 4th year one so the major one inc gearbox oil etc that come to nearly £1500 Laughing Luckily his was on a service plan so didn't actually cost him anything.
