Scotland 2006 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Cairns Blue
[SOLD] 2006 TDV8 Vogue SE rear entertainment - £8,500

The time has come to part with my much loved FF Range Rover.

I have had the car since 2011 with one owner before me, plus dealer. It was the Aberdeen dealer's TDV8 launch car, in Cairns Blue with privacy glass and supercharger grills. Being a 2007 spec SE it comes with factory rear seat entertainment with working remote and two sets of headphones.

FSH history, mix of main dealer and local specialist plus host of bills. Work done over the years includes EGRs, gearbox seal, transfer box, inlet manifold, air compressor, air tank, numerous bushes etc, rear camera, turbo hoses, thermostat housing etc.

Currently on Nokian winter tyres with about 5mm tread. Set of 22" Hawkes with Toyos available separately.

Next MOT and service due October. 103k miles.

Only known faults are drivers heated seat sometimes doesn't work (it does cool) and NS door mirror folds out of sync with driver mirror and doesn't lock in position - not a big issue.

There is some minor rust on OS rear wheel arch / rear quarter and some minor scratches, it is an 11.5 year old car. Wheels have minor curbing but not enough to merit refurb.

Private plate will be removed and it will revert to 56 plate.

Located in NE Scotland.

Would like to get £8,500 but open to offers.

Scotland 2006 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Cairns Blue

SOLD (well deposit taken) I thought it would be first to see will buy - I was the first to see it at the LR dealer 7 years ago and I bought it, they had had it in just over an hour...

Well that's it for FF ownership for now but I expect a L405 will be wanted at some point in the future in the meantime I expect to be behind the wheel of a 2015 Porsche Cayenne S (4.2 diesel) if my wife isn't using it, then it will be the 2007 Freelander.

If anyone is interested I totaled up the invoices I had accumulated over nearly seven years of ownership of this car - it will make you want to Big Cry and they don't include the work done under three years of warranty which I didn't see the bills for.

Nonetheless ownership was a pleasure and I know I will miss the car. Over the years I have have upward of 50 cars, including wife's, and never kept any others more than three years, most less than two, I kept the FF nearly seven years, which says something about what a great car it has been. 2016 RRS Autobiography, Gone in 2018 56 plate Vogue SE TDV8 - my first Land Rover since Disco 2.
