It should tuck under the spoiler when in he parked position. It actually lifts the blade slightly away from the glass too, so that it doesn’t stick in freezing weather. Makes it awkward to swap the blade actually, requiring good timing to open the top boot at just the right moment to stop the blade mid-wipe. Current: 2010 Range Rover L322

I did think it should, so not sure what the issue is now, is /should the sweep be symmetrical? |

Not symmetrical. Hopefully the glass is dirty enough for you to see the wiper sweep on mine.

Yeah I can see that thanks,, I don't think this wiper has as much movement |

I can only suggest removing the wiper arm when it’s in the park position and putting it back on so it’s under the spoiler. Think you have to remove the spoiler to get to the nut, so might be best doing when you investigating wiper motor issues or such like....
