Just retired and looking at replacing my mile munching 5 Series for a 4.4 tdv8. Looking at several on the net and have seen 1 with a Parrot Bluetooth kit fitted - it’s a my11. Does the standard Bluetooth not work with latest phones?

My MY11 had Bluetooth and it worked very well with all my mobile phones.

Not sure why there'd be a Parrot system fitted.

My MY11 works fine with my Android phone and fiancé's iPhone.

You don't get streaming Bluetooth audio with the standard L322 Bluetooth setup, but nothing wrong with the phone connectivity as far as I can see for making/receiving calls.

I dont think the sound quality is great with the standard system. I can hear fine but people on the other end complain of noise ( and not just me crapping on !!) 2015 4.4 AB

Maybe they are used to me being in the Defender...

We find the standard system so good that fiancé and I often have conference calls on it, and with the centrally mounted microphone, we can both be clearly heard.

That's interesting because I Spend alot of time in mine and would love to have decent quality convos. 2015 4.4 AB

Maybe he had an iPhone X, the sound quality on mine has gone pants since I got the new phone. Was perfect on iPhone 7 There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I have the Samsung S8 plus but the quality of the sound coming in is perfect its the reception on the other end. Even turning the fan off makes a difference in noise quality im told. A friend has a L405 and his is bad enough when i talk to him . 2015 4.4 AB
