Thank you.

Here's a question..

How do you get the sim card out of its slot?? I pushed it in, it went "click" and disappeared. Can't see it in the slot at all and on the screen it says "Sim not Supported" Daren't poke around in it.

Anyone?

Not the best photo, but it does show how dark the BRG is and it does change depending on the light....

United Kingdom 2018 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

Chalky,
When i have removed mine, I was just i put my thumb nail on the card and pushed it in, this released the card out of the slot.
The colour looks really good
On another note
Got a phone call from I Control this morning and they said there was a theft alert on the vehicle, the problem is it is at the garage in Houghton having the problems sorted.
Definitely losing the will to live with this car, my patience is wearing thin.
Land Rover are blaming the effects of Brexit for a down turn in sales for their cars, maybe someone should read the pages on this forum to see another probable reason, the cars they build are no where near the standard they should be.
Steve.

Hi Chalky, I'm hoping you have the right sized sim inserted, depending on your version of inControl it takes a different sized card:

InControl Touch Pro takes a Micro SIM which is the smallest sized sim and InControl Touch & Touch Plus take a Standard full sized SIM.

It also needs to be a data only sim.

Thanks Steve and Jeremy

The problem with my Sim card is of my own making I'm afraid....I put the smallest size in (a Nano!!) and so it just swallowed it like a Chub after a worm!! Laughing I have been in touch with the dealer and they are going to sort it for me. They think the worst case scenario is the unit will need to come out!! The dealer gave me the card FOC so it is Data only

The theft alert is normal if they are playing with the Incontrol as it triggers the alert. I was going to activate after getting the email re the Incontrol before I collected the car but they said "Don't!!!" as the KVM module being changed would trigger a theft.

At the moment I have no problems with anything on the car, except I can't keep it clean!! Thumbs Up

Thought it would be worth mentioning as you wouldn't be the first person to do that Very Happy some people have had success in other vehicles with two needles or saftey pin arms but if you cant see the edge of the sim it might be best left to the dealer, forgot to mention what a great colour combo you vehicle is, enjoy Thumbs Up 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

Thanks Jeremy.

I dare not do anything as I can't really see the sim and I don't want to go prodding about and do any damage. I've got a horrible feeling if I did damage the reader it would cost!!!

Thanks for the compliments re colour, I was hoping to get some really good pics but the weather has been awful and the car is now pretty dirty. Ill get some asap 'cos it is a really lovely green. Very Happy

2019 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Aintree Green

Has the BRG changed? Yours looks better than the previous few I’ve seen, seems to be less blue/turquoise in the colour.

I think it depends a bit on the light. Mine looks a much darker green than Aintree for example. Actually, it is quite like the green on the LR website build module.

I have had a lot of people (some complete strangers)saying what a great colour it is and I am really pleased with it. It's not at all like the "turquoisey" colour in MrJWW's picture on Youtube.

I'll do some proper pics soon Thumbs Up

PS: If anyone is thinking of having the colour, you will not be disappointed Thumbs Up

Have taken delivery. So far every button ive pressed works!
First impressions good, only negative so far is it looks like the exec rear seats take up some boot space.
