My 3.6 was remapped and it flew. Felt much more responsive than my 4.4. ( haven't got around to remapping yet)

Lots of people mapped their 3.6’s with no problems - I sold mine at about 130k miles

ZF 6 speed box is good for 740 NM of torque. 3.6 Fatty produces 640Nm torque as standard.

Yeah been thinking of doing the BAS re-map which can be done at home via pc, this can also be turned on and off from home so its a high possibility for me.

Hi Grofus, i was under the impression that 3.6 tdv8s had the zf 6hp which is rated up to 640mn. 2015 4.4 AB

ZF website says 6hp26 is rated to 600Nm. 6hp32 rated to 750Nm. Can't see JLR would fit an engine capable of 640 NM to a box capable of 600Nm. I'm sure I read that Fatty 6 speed was up to 740Nm so assumed it was uprated to 6hp32.

640Nm is the engines max torque. The table doesn't show what gearbox will take so it's still a mystery!
